We are seeking compassionate and motivated Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to young people in a co-living environment. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, personal care, and fostering an inclusive, supportive community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Assist with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and medication administration.
  • Support residents with household tasks, meal preparation, and daily routines.
  • Encourage independence and social interaction among residents.
  • Foster a safe and comfortable living environment, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff.
  • Assist with recreational activities and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Uphold confidentiality, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families to provide holistic support.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience in a caregiving, support work, or healthcare role (preferred but not required).
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards qualification).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic first aid and safeguarding training (or willingness to undergo training).
  • A valid driver’s license (preferred but not essential).
